Admission @ MDS
The University has 3 academic sessions/semesters for admission into Master in Development Studies (MDS) namely, Spring (January-April), Summer (May-August) and Fall (September-December). Each semester has duration of 4 months. The University publishes an academic calendar for each year.
Admission Requirements
Students who have a Bachelor with Honors Degree (3/4 Years) from any recognized university with minimum 2nd division or CGPA at least 2.00 can get admission. The applicant with BA (pass) can also get admission if she/he has a Master degree or long working experiences in development field. A student who already has a master degree can also apply. Students with third class at Bachelor level are highly discouraged to apply.
Application Procedure
Application Form is available from the Admission Office of the SEU on payment of Tk. 700. The completed Application Form should be submitted to the Admission Office with the following documents:
